About Me
Aria is sixteen years old, Chinese, female. ^^ She hasn't been seriously walling for a long while yet, but she intends on getting better, now that she's getting addicted to the pastime. She is also a rookie debater, crappy fiction-writer and playwright, shower-singer and addicted anime fan (aren't we all?).
I generally like blending a whole lot, and I'm not too fond of extracts, which is probably why most of my early wallpapers have partially-erased out heads and hands and things. >_< But I still like blending. ^^" And I still hate extraction. I'm currently trying to pick up vectoring - it's so hard to do it nicely. I guess I still need plenty of practice! :)
Erm. Random thought. I was born in Kawasaki. And my mother's Shanghainese! :D Maybe that's why I like Japanese food (I love tempura and unagi) and Shanghainese food. Too bad they don't make good Xiao Long Bao any other place in the world, with all the soup filling inside. Oh! I'm fluent in Mandarin, as well as English! XD (I rock.)
Er. This is getting long. ^^ Will stop posting random stuff. You might want to check out my wallpaper website. It's got some of my really old stuff on as well, just for nostalgia's sake.
(Note: I'm generally known as 'Aria' but I think the name was taken, so I decided to plonk in 'Fuujin' instead. ^^ It's a less-used alias of mine. I go by the username 'IllusionistAria' on Minitokyo. You can find a lot of my older pieces of work there too.)

Fuujin has claimed Kaname-sama!
Come state your claim with the rest of the Rabid Fangirls!

I've added you to my friends lists as well, and I'm very honored as well to have you as a friend ^_^
Thank you for your complements on my wallpapers, I'm happy that you liked them so well ^^ yesterday I took a look through yours and I liked them quite a lot. I'll be sure to leave some nice comments on them latter on ^^
I'm going to make my final version of the Last Exile wallpaper in a little while, using all the wonderful suggestions I've been given, and I should be submitting it to the gallery some time today.

Thanks for your second post on my new Exile wallpaper, I'll defiantly try your suggestion about the border (I don't know though... I might have made the sky too big vertically for a border to work effectively... I'll just have to give it a try and see). I'm gonna go back and make a bunch of final revisions on it latter on this evening using all the great comments I've gotten before I submit.
And speaking of comments that are great, thanks also for the comment on my FF7 wallpaper. You really have a good eye for spotting things ^_^ That was the part on that wall that gave me the most trouble. And, to be honest, I still wasn't completely satisfied with the texture when I submitted it, I just couldn't seem to come up with a better alternative at the time. I had actually done revisions on that part, based on session zero suggestions, and it's significantly better than I had it originally. Still, maybe I’ll give it another try later when I have some extra time.
Anyway, thanks again for all your help,
- August
p.s./btw Do you want to be friends?
you're welcome ;D
wah... what program do you use to make your walls? I really really liked your bg *-*~~

Thanks very much for your thoughtful comments in session zero about my Last Exile wallpaper. I made that correction you mentioned and actually found another small thing I'd overlooked while I was doing that ^_^ For the border suggestion though, that is more of a tough decision. I'd been considering that idea a lot when making it originally, but, quite by accident, I got that nice looking overlap on the bottom and I just don't think want to give that up. But, maybe I should experiment with the idea anyway, just in case I'm wrong...
Thanks again,
~ August
The black clouds add an interesting dark, imminent storm, sort of touch to the wallpaper. It's an interesting concept. I think a few white clouds might balance the piece a little, though, especially since Hitsugaya, Zaraki and Byakuya are both so bright and white. A bit of subtle texturing/brushing over the characters as well as the wall might help adjust the colors so they fit together better. Maybe some color-balancing will help as well.
On the overall, this is an interesting sort of concept, very fitting to some of the recent events in the series! I like it. :) Good job!
thanx for the comment on my wallpaper The Calm Before The Storm
ive just started playing with lighting effects so i still have alot to learn in that regard:)
appreciate the advance

I'd like to thank you very very much for your nice comment on my Sakura and Syaoran wall...

buut ;D thank you again ;D
its kai ^^
must add immediately XP
I did want the title to stand out a little - being the only bright thing in the whole wall, kinda hoping to add more flavour to otherwise potentially-dull-and-boring wall :)
Good luck with your wall Senbozakura!
